Traceroutes can tell us whether there is a problem with your Internet connection.

We have a handy tool to help us see the connection quality between you and SmugMug. It only takes one click.

To see the connection quality between SmugMug and you (the other direction), you'll need to follow this 6-step process:

To run a traceroute on a Mac, open up Finder and choose Applications

Next, open up Utilities

Then, open up Network Utilities
Then, open up Network Utilities
There will be a new window pop up with some tabs at the top.  Click on the Traceroute tab and it will bring up the section that you want.

In the text field provided type in upload.smugmug.com and then click on the Trace to get the traceroute started.

Finally, you will be able to copy all of the text and then paste it in an email to one of our Support Heroes
