on Dec 02A beauty!

on Dec 02Good thing I read the other comments. I missed that brown duck when I went through images voting...but still voted for this even though the title confused me.

on Dec 02I really liked this one. At first glance I thought the ducks were on a snow covered field. Duck Courting might be a better title...since all the males seem to be competing for the females attention.Very nice.

on Dec 01Marvelous shot! And I really liked all of your other duck shots, too.

on Dec 01Haven't been active for a few weeks, so I also missed the dating story... however, if it's nine males and one female, it could be taking me back to my unfortunate youth in a nano-second. Good thing nerdiness became the new sexy about the time I was waiting for wife #2 to come along.. .but I digress. This is a lovely shot with a aspect ratio that works and a story to tell. I was first confused by the absence of color/contrast in the water and thought I was looking at snow, though.

on Dec 01I still liked that first one you posted in your thread the best, but this is another extraordinary shot - you are definitely the Duckmeister!

on Nov 30I love this... still think a couple of your earlier shots on ducks were my pick. I totally missed the whole dating thing too. Still this is lovely.

on Nov 30I missed the memo about Dating too. While I preferred some of your other shots, feeling like I enjoyed the "action" in others, I understand that's a matter of preference. I sure enjoy the nature shots!

on Nov 30I really like this unusual shot with its subjects, composition, setting and crop. And I appreciate the way your title touches on the grouping of the 9 males and 1 female - as did your explanation in the threads. You posted a lot of amazing duck shots there, and I can see why it was hard to choose!

on Nov 30I am like Paul in that wild life shots usually don't grab me. However, I thought that most of your duck shots were stunning. As I said in my comments, I said 'wow' out loud. I did prefer the close-ups in flight since I could see the true details of the ducks. They seem lost in this shot against the water. All in all though, you did amazing work!
