on Dec 03I agree with the others about the bike but I really like this image overall....it's unusual, love the lines in the stairs and the lines reflected on the sides, like the red color against the monotone gray and I like the feeling of movement with the motion blur. Would like to see the guy a little lower in the composition but just like one step. GP

on Dec 02Here's where another of my votes went. The "bike" looks more like an aluminum lawn chair, but something about this works for me.

on Dec 02When I first looked at this one, I had no clue there was a bike. A tighter portrait crop would have been more to my liking, and the pedestrian not being right at the top of the frame would have been better, to me anyway. It appears that the top of his head was chopped off.

on Dec 02A favorite of mine in this round.....it has such an urban feel and the use of lines and motion is quite intriguing. The splash of red in a sea of gray blue seals the deal.

on Dec 01Composition, color, motion blur all work. It is hard to make out the bike and I might have missed it if not for the title.

on Dec 01Very cool. A creative shot and dynamic color usage. The centered composition works with the lines and color to draw attention right where it belongs. The choice of exposure time (1 sec) is really effective in creating not only the subject motion, but the contrast of static steps and moving escalator steps. Kudos!

on Nov 30As someone with some loss of hearing and vision, I am personally drawn to photos where I can see the subject a bit more clearly. But it is a creative and effective shot with the motion, the red clothing, etc. Good job!

on Nov 30Personally, I really like everything about this shot. Makes me wonder how long you had to sit and wait for the "right" person to come along, and hope that there was no one else on the steps or escalator. Like it a lot.

on Nov 30I like this image, but would never have seen the bike. I keep wondering what this shot would have looked like if the pedestrian wasn't ghosted?
