on Sep 26Playing on the weird feelings of possible past lives or remembered losses. The side view, corner of the eye glimpse of this photo grabbed my attention right away. It speaks the theme quite well.

on Sep 23Kudos to you for being the first to post in a relatively-daunting challenge!
And I think you did a super interpretation of the theme.....the framing of an image in the car mirror was genius.

on Sep 22WhatSheSaw and Bartlett. Thanks for the input and comments ;) Oh and WhatSheSaw...love your interpretation. I can definately get that sense from this too. Thanks!

on Sep 22This is a beauty. I get peaceful. No more worries.

on Sep 20Don't know why it cut the rest of my comment off, but here it is: The distortion & processing add a lot, as does the mirror. This photo gives a very clear eerie feeling, but for me, the eerie feeling is only a part of Déjà vu. Regardless, very nice entry.

on Sep 20I like the surreal look of this - the distortion

on Sep 19Thanks for all the nice comments. Froch, sorry yours got deleted...I switched versions of the shot and your comment was on the 1st version ;) I had fun with this theme. It was quite daunting trying to pixelate an emotion for this round. For my entry, I went with both a literal and abstract definiton of deja-vu. My main objective was to convey the eeriness of deja vu, thus the graveyard, the vague motion blur, darkness, looming clouds etc to achieve this sensation. The literal interpretation of course is the reflection. A driver would have just seen the cemetery in passing. I think I had a million ideas for this theme, but they all seemed too hard to bring into reality. Thanks again for the kind comments. Everyone on dgrin is an inspiration to me. :) Kelly
